Love is Kind

Love is Kind and does not hide the truth to be kind. Love does not rejoice at wrong doing. Love rejoices with the truth. 1 Corinthians 13:6. And for those who are married or planning to get married…I recommend this book “Cherish: The One Word That Changes Everything for Your Marriage
by Gary Thomas”

According to the calendar of usual and little known holidays today is “National Love is Kind Day.”

It was created by Rosie Aiello and her daughter Sunny who were “trapped in an emotionally, mentally and financially abusive relationship for nearly 25 years,” according to her web page Love is Kind Network.

Rosie escaped that abusive relationship and now is trying to help other women in similar circumstances.

Why Jim Denison Refuses to See “Oppenheimer”

In my view, keeping adults “little” and “pure” by keeping them in the dark and forbidding them stories of sex and violence, keeps the Light from coming and standing among those longing to see and touch the Bride of Christ, saying I AM the LIGHT, showing and telling them how and why Jesus comes and stands among them…in John 8:12, the very next verse after Jesus the TEACHER of ISRAEL, the RABBONI, says to the Woman Jesus Trapped …Go and Sin No More…before Jesus is lifted up by Simon the Cyrene (Mark 15:21) and securely attached to a BRANCH (Jeremiah [1:11] saw as an Amygdala) with the help of a silversmith while the disciples “watched” from a safe distance.

Yesterday on the Denison Forum, this post appeared on his daily article: “Why I refuse to see “Oppenheimer”—and you should, too”.

I had heard about the Christopher Nolan  movie and its impressive weekend opening against “Barbie”, grossing $80.5 million dollars. It’s about the life of the brilliant scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer who helped create the first atomic bomb.

Although Norma Jean and I don’t attend movies as often as we once did, Denison’s post assured me that we won’t be seeing this one.

Living in an Evil, Chaotic World

I replied to Rev. Kebba saying I am also a woman of faith who holds a doctorate in written communication. My Master’s thesis was Mary Magdalene: Her image and relationship to Jesus. I too shake my head at the “stones” people pick up to foment violence, and silence the stories and the understanding of “those” who get trapped living lives God is calling them to leave. People holding the stones, want two things…to stone one and vindicate the other. Too often, people do not want the LIGHT. Take the case of the Woman trapped in Adultery. The Woman was brought in to face a charge of Adultery because the Teacher of Israel who had intercourse with Jesus under the Cover of Darkness (John 3:1-21) appealed to the Jewish Leaders who did not believe the “Rabble” could possibly identify the Christ (John 7:42-53). Perhaps because the Rabbi some believed was the Teacher of Israel and therefore the Christ had said. “I am not the Christ, but am sent ahead of Him. The bride belongs to the bridegroom.” (John 3:29). This would have angered many Hebrew Jews and fostered hatred for Greek Jews looking to Alexander as a leading Pharisee (Mark 15:21; Acts 19) because with the coming of the mighty Alexander came the right of “first night” that led to the rebellion of the Hebrew Jews celebrated at Chanukah. First Night gave officers the right to spend the night with the Bride before her wedding night! So think about it. If the Woman trapped in Adultery is the Bride the question is “well” where is her Bridegroom? Why isn’t he behind her, lifting her up, carrying her on his shoulder, wrapping her in his linen sheets as her JO and burying her in his rock solid house? (Mark 15:43; John 19:40) Yet still others may think…why not lock up Nicodemus and sully him as the one all tarnished with soot in need of God’s refining fire? And what about his housewife? Was she worried and upset? And did she with the resurrection of Lazarus…come to realize that the Black Stone needed some heat (some love and faith) to bring the Light, the Truth, to people waiting for salvation and trusting in Jesus who stands at her Sister’s Door…saying I am the Resurrection and the LIFE. [Your Lord, your husband is my dear friend and brother, had he not found me and tempted me by inviting himself to my home, I would be lost Luke 19:1-10].

Evil.MalysianJetCrash

A commercial airliner is shot down over Ukraine. 298 people tragically lost their lives. And pro-Moscow separatists tied to Russian President Putin are alleged to be the perpetrators of this horrific act of violence.

At the same time we are witnessing another bloody conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The latest confrontation was sparked by the murder of three young Jewish boys and the possible revenge when an 18-year-old Palestinian teen was murdered.

“In Christ Alone My Hope is Found”

Where does our hope lie in these end times? Will we endure the day of the Second coming? Will you be able to stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like a launderer’s soap (Malachi 3:2)…like soap made at CleanO2 https://cleano2.ca/pages/our-story.

“The lives of a 6th grade class in East Harlem were forever changed on the day self-made millionaire Eugene Land challenged them with the promise, ‘Stay in school, and I’ll help pay the college tuition for every one of you.’”

“One student said, ‘I had something to look forward to, something waiting for me. It was a golden feeling.’ Nearly 90% of that class went on to graduate from high school.”

Remembering the Man on the Moon

Neil Armstrong was blessed to be the first man to step on the moon. He must have had a lot of love and support from his wife and his family. They must have also sacrificed so much to get behind him as an astronaut selected to go to the MOON. An astronaut in training would not have much time to “be there” for his wife and family day to day.

ThePreachersWord's avatarThePreachersWord

On this day in history, July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong, an American astronaut, became the first human being to walk on the surface of the moon.

Norma Jean and I had only been married 11 months. But I remember it like it was yesterday.?I had an out of town preaching appointment in North Florida. But we returned to our little apartment on Bearss Avenue in Tampa, Florida, just in time. Turned on our little black and white TV and watched in amazement
