Professor of Practice – Linda’s Journey

In 2024, I was featured on the cover of Marquis Millennium Magazine, 17th Edition—an unexpected honour that came with a two-page article on pages 76–77, recognizing my work as a writer, theological thinker, and storyteller.

I didn’t set out to earn a title like “Professor of Practice.” But over time, it became clear that this wasn’t just about academic credentials—it was about embodying wisdom through lived experience, spiritual reflection, and public witness.

This article tells the story of how my path unfolded—from church pews to ecumenical platforms, from personal revelation to public recognition.

“Driven by a passion for peace, social justice, and the integrity of creation, Linda Vogt Turner has distinguished herself as a writer, theologian, and educator—guided by faith, inspired by Mary Magdalene, and committed to divine providence in every chapter of her story.”

💬 Reflection

Titles come and go. But the path that led here was paved with questions, doubts, fears, temptations, and challenges—and with grace.
From that grace came the humility and clarity born of divine providence.

Through it all, I’ve learned that what matters most isn’t recognition—
but remaining faithful to the voice within, and to the Prophetic Voice that called me to walk this path in the first place.

I continue to write, teach, and speak with this calling in mind:
To tell the truth.
To honour the mystery—not by concealing it,
but by helping others glimpse the wisdom it contains.

A newborn child cannot yet see the face of the mother or the father.
But they know the voice.
So too, the born-again child of faith begins in shadow,
seeing dimly, as in a mirror.

But in time—through love, through listening—
they can see both their Heavenly Parents, their Elder Brother,
and the Lady of His House of Grace, face to face.
And the mystery becomes revelation and salvation
for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see.
